Position Overview:

Neo Technology is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our unique CMS platform, which is specifically built to manage complex high traffic news, media and ecommerce websites. Therefore, your network and experience will be in the News and Media sector.

Our platform architecture is unique - it maximises page load speed to less than a second, maintains uptime to 99.65%, which improves ranking and overall performance. It serves 550+ million hits per month without failing.

Website issues we solve are:

  • The cost of downtime is high
  • 45% of website downtime is due to hardware failure
  • 80% of users will not return to a site after a downtime experience
  • The average website is down 3 hours per month
  • Downtime which affects SEO rankings
  • Low ranking in Google

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass sales and revenue targets by actively identifying and promoting business opportunities.
• Develop new sales leads through proactive engagement with prospects and customers, including executive-level interactions with News, Media and E-commerce organisations.
• Utilise existing relationships with prospects to secure business and position Neo Technology as a valuable partner to improve uptime and ranking.
• Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and convert them into key customers.
• Gather and maintain competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and the business strategy.
• Develop and maintain sales target plans on a quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.
• Collaborate closely with marketing for events, seminars, webinars and round table discussions, ensuring active participation and input.
• Work closely with service architects and professional services consultants to ensure accurate technical information and support are available to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Good knowledge of digital marketing, website development and SEO.
• Prior experience in selling website development and digital marketing is essential.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to foster both internal and external relationships.
• Proven experience of working with the wider business to deliver sales opportunities, presentations, bids and demonstrations.
• Self-motivated and proactive with strong reporting capabilities.
• Highly motivated individual with a passion for sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a website development company or digital marketing consultancy in a sales role with a track record of career progression and achievement.
