The primary challenge was to separate the campaign and operational development of software away from the primary development team, allowing the in-house team to focus on building tools within the business.
Solution
The starting point of the relationship was to integrate a single highly skilled resource from the Neo team. The lead developer mastered the client's bespoke technology platform.
We then cross-trained their global team to create a scalable process and because the team are global Neo agreed an SLA turnaround time of 48hrs but actually deliver App campaigns overnight. The team have now taken over the ad unit development responsibilities globally.
Result
Neo now services over ten regions with bespoke mobile ad unit request daily.
Over the last two years, the relationship has blossomed and has outsourced over six full-time developers managing a global delivery of ad units.
The team structured in a support model where
junior team members are initially time-boxed to deliver ad units; if they are bllocked, more senior team members step in to see through the development, with no impact on quality and turn-around
times.
